Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
Nature and history collide in this enchanting paradise. Located along the Ashley River, you could spend all day exploring over 400 acres of protected wetlands, touring the famous Magnolia House while learning about its rich history, or educating yourself on the myriad of native plants and animals via the Nature Train. Charleston Waterfront Park
If you are looking for the perfect spot for a marriage proposal you have found it! This park oozes romance. As a matter of fact, it's where I personally fell in love. Overlooking the Charleston Harbor and the Cooper River, combined with that southern heat, I can't think of a better place for an afternoon nap. Middleton Place
There are no words to describe the beauty of this place. It is truly special. The meticulously manicured gardens transport you back to a time when sweet tea on the porch was a real thing. Take the time to experience this historic home (which is now a museum), the stable yards, and the gardens. There is an Inn and a restaurant on site offering a place to rest with Low Country fare to die for. Best She Crab Soup around! Middleton Place Experience
